UAW-Dodge was looking for a way to expand their profile on a national level to support their auto sales and workers. NASCAR was a logical fit for them as UAW-Dodge entered the sport in 2001.

SportsONE developed a plan that has included the following key elements:

• Associate Sponsorship of the Nextel Cup Evernham Motorsports #9 and #19 cars
• Trackside interactive display program travels to 10 to 12 NASCAR events, as well as 8 to 10 non-NASCAR sanctioned events. The trackside interactive display includes: Showcars, photo opportunities, race simulators and product information
• Title sponsorship of the March Las Vegas Motor Speedway NEXTEL Cup event, now known as the UAW-Dodge 400
